NEW BRAUNFELS, TX (November 14, 2025)…Texas Female Artist of the Decade and nine-time ,” the first female artist in the format’s history to reach such a milestone. Texas Female Vocalist of the Year Bri Bagwell has made history earning her 15th #1 single on Texas Country Radio with her latest release, “Hit The Highway".
Penned solely by Bagwell, “Hit The Highway” marks the fourth digital single from her upcoming EP and has quickly become a fan favorite. The high-octane, highway anthem showcases her trademark blend of wit, grit, and honesty—packed with punchy guitars, a driving groove, and confident storytelling that has defined her career.
“It’s been so fun to watch a song about life on the road resonate with so many people,” Bagwell shares. “I even got a thank-you card from someone who was grateful I put ‘if you’re parking for your gasoline, don’t block the diesel pump’ into a song! Chasing your dreams is tough in any industry, and even though this might be the most fun track I’ve ever released, the message still seems to be cutting through—judging by all the merch-table conversations. I’m incredibly grateful to regional radio for another #1, and for always supporting the stories I write while I’m out there truly ‘hitting the highway.’”
Cut with producer Rachel Loy at The Smoakstack in Nashville, the single features an all-star band including ACM Drummer of the Year Fred Eltringham (drums), Rachel Loy (bass, background vocals), Sam Hunter (electric guitar), Paul Eason (acoustic guitar), and Billy Justineau (piano). The result is a fiery, road-tested track that captures the freedom of a life lived on tour.
The historic milestone comes on the heels of Bagwell’s packed fall tour, with dates spanning Texas, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Known for her engaging, high-energy performances, Bagwell has spent the better part of her career trailblazing a path across the country—one sold-out crowd and honest song at a time.
Beyond the stage, Bri continues to connect with fans through her acclaimed podcast Only Vans, which consistently ranks in the Top 10% of podcasts globally thanks to her unfiltered humor and road-worn wisdom.
With “Hit The Highway” now marking her 15th #1, Bri Bagwell continues to prove that her independent spirit, authentic songwriting, and relentless work ethic are the driving forces behind one of Texas Country’s most compelling careers.
