"The journey was like I needed to eat, and slide came in and I just kept working to refine it." - Keb Mo
About being at A&M Records, what was interesting to me is that there were session players who, if they weren't doing anything, would come and play demos. So, that was always good because I got to work with some great drummers, bass players, and keyboard players, who were working on top sessions and would sometimes come in and play with the demo guys. So, it was great. That time at A&M Records and Irving Almo music when I was on the demo squad, as we used to call it, that was my college.

Mick Mars takes fans to “The Other Side of Mars” with his new solo album!"
Chris Collier was introduced to me by Ray Luzier of Korn and Chris does a lot of the Korn albums.  For recording I used Michael Wagener, who actually started on “Too Fast for Love.”  I met him through Dokken.  But the guy that recorded that record didn’t record it very well, so I called in Michael.  And I’ve worked with him for over 4 decades now.

Eric Gales is a blues firebrand. "John Squire and Jimmy Page were my first two major influences. Both are really melodic players." - Jack Hutchinson
BY Edward Schooley - Editor In Chief
On my first couple of albums I was chasing this idea of ‘success’, whether that be chart positions, or bigger and better gigs than my peers. That was a really toxic way of living, and actually frequently put me in a really negative mindset. I came to realize that rather than looking outward and I guess worrying about what other people thought, I needed to focus on what made me happy.

BY Eric Dahl
The Push/Pull tone allows you to split the humbucker pickups into single coil configurations delivering six different pickup settings on one guitar.  Playing wise the neck is a bit wider than usual, but it compensates by being flatter instead of rounded in the back for your hand.  I
