Earlier this year, MR. BIG put on their signature top hats and old shoes for the launch of their last worldwide tour, aptly titled “The BIG Finish.” The first leg kicked off July 20, 2023 in Nagoya, Japan, which took them throughout Southeast Asia where the band performed for hundreds of thousands of loyal fans at 11 sold-out shows. MR. BIG then brought “The BIG Finish” to South America, an initial run of European shows, and two separate east coast/west coast tours of the U.S., with their last-ever stateside concert happening June 6 in Billy Sheehan’s hometown of Buffalo, NY. MR. BIG’s remaining shows will start July 13 in Bulgaria and will roll through August 23 in Romania.

Epic and Legendary Songwriter and Guitarist!Carl Bell's return to FUEL and talks ÅNOMÅLY
We understand that we have a history.  We're not abandoning that history, but we want to expand on the history that we have as FUEL.  And, put a record out where we have one foot in the past and one foot in the future, kind of album.  I'm excited!  We've got 4 or 5 songs now that we're really loving and working.  We're getting a timeline together for when we can get this out.  And, when we can get it out right.  But bear with us, we've got some cool things coming for the next FUEL album.

"That is why I am at the level I am now, it is because of Santana, KISS, Rob Thomas, Orianthi, Eric Gales and Kingfish".
Due to the rapidly growing fan base here in the States, Taj and his family made the decision to move and are now living in the America full time. “We were flying back and forth so many times a year it just made sense to live here. Plus, I love it in the USA! I have been here more than half my life off and on so it’s my home away from home.” Balancing a professional career and a teenage life can be tough but off the stage Taj and his family live a very normal life.

"I fell in love with it when I saw Nico’s videos of “Desertshore” I think it’s unknowingly the first dark wave record in history."
BY Manuel Bellone
One day she came to see the rehearsals as the drummer’s girlfriend, and we decided to play “Anemone” by The Brian Jonestown Massacre. When the piece started, the groove had a very nice and rhythmic feel, we liked the idea so much that we also tried it on our only two songs we had. It worked so well that we decided to get her into the band. About the tambourine…during the 60’s together with maracas was also very characteristic in live performances. I can mention so many bands like the Rolling Stones, the Byrds, Beach Boys.

"You must have the right mindset to overcome failure. It is part of life." - Joanne Shaw Taylor
BY Edward Schooley
However, like you mentioned you must have the right mindset to overcome failure. It is part of life. I recall being on tour and getting extremely ill. Even to the point of collapsing on stage. I was admitted to the hospital, and my manager at the time wanted me to continue performing on tour. There was no way that was going to happen. Especially when you won’t be able to perform at your best. Regarding failure, I can recall a comment from Joe Bonomassa. He mentioned that you must be talented. You must be better than others that are competing as an artist. Joe has always been instrumental in encouraging me throughout my career.

The Power of Basic Chord Shapes - Using the CAGED system: Part I
BY Kevin Sergent
Using the CAGED system, we will start with the C shape, playing it in open position as a C chord. To do this we would ensure that our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd fingers are curled at the first and second knuckle and place our 1st finger on the 2nd string, first fret. Next we will place our 2nd finger on the 4th string, 2nd fret. Finally, we place our 3rd finger on the 5th string, 3rd fret.

"Playing more live shows in the past two years than I have in the years prior, my guitar skills have improved tremendously." - Payton Howie
BY Edward Schooley
In a world that can be so fabricated and counterfeit, I always try to be as real as possible and just say what I’m thinkin’ whether people like it or not. I think the realest thing about the music industry is the fans because they’re the ones showing up to shows, listening to every original song, sporting merch, and showing constant support on social media. The die-hard support I’ve seen from my listeners means the absolute world to me.
