The piezo pickup is important because it allows an electric guitar to capture the natural resonance and articulation of the instrument in a way that magnetic pickups cannot. Unlike magnetic pickups, which sense string vibration through metal interaction, a piezo pickup responds directly to the physical vibrations of the bridge and body.

It makes playing more accessible—especially for beginners or those with physical challenges—while still giving experienced musicians creative flexibility for composition, digital performance, or inspiration on the go.
Our friends at Hotone Audio sent us over the Pulze to review. The first impression that I received is how the outside reminded me of the old school features of the 8-trak cassette player. The vintage look captured my attention immediately. Therefore, there was no hesitage in setting this amp up to a recent Headless guitar I received from Anesidora Guitars.

Fit and finish are consistent with premium guitars—tight joints, clean binding, and a subtle yet elegant aesthetic that reflects Zaar’s attention to detail.
It is an extraordinary band. We're going for a year where we're working with three different drummers, because some are busy sometimes. I've just been working with a German drummer, Felix Luhrmann. Just before Felix was Craig Blundell and I've also worked with Nick D'Virgilio, who's gonna be working later in the year. When we do Japan, which is coming up soon in the touring schedule, it's gonna be Craig again.

The METRO organic overdrive pedal is exactly that. Trust that there is no color in this pedal. I had no issues with the solid tones, as I used the Metro Overdrive pedal. The Metro Organic Overdrive from Awestruck Amplification is a vibrant player in the transparent overdrive scene
The Supreme pedal combines two distinct overdrive circuits in a single enclosure, offering versatility and tonal richness for guitarists seeking dynamic and expressive drive tones. In my assessment of the PRS Standard 24 model that I reviewed, there wasn’t any cause for alarm. There was no indication that a mounting screw was missing, or damaged. However, this is something you want to be aware of, especially when you are purchasing a guitar online, or in your favorite music store.

Not all C-Pedals come from the same mold. Thankfully. Consider just one of our favorites. It is manufactured from one of our favorite amp brands, VOX. I am a HUGE fan of VOX amps. Spartan and solid metal chassis with a matte black finish featuring a glass window that reveals a pair of 12AX7 valves illuminated with a purple LED. Both the 10 potentiometers and the switches seem to be of good quality and ready to withstand the use and abuse of live shows. I think the simplicity of the finish contrasts with the elegance of the brand's Heads. I expected a little more love in the aesthetic design of the pedal, but functionally I think the design is very good.
The guidelines for measuring string height, neck and pickups were all spot on with the Revolver. Even despite my own preferences. Adjustments to the truss bar for any guitar “out of the box” is unacceptable to me. All guitars should have quality assurance measures in place for any guitar going to a consumer or guitar novice. Adjusting a guitar is simple in many respects for those that are qualified

Before reviewing the AFO300CE I had hopes that it would be an amazing sound. A carbon fiber backing sounded appealing. The guitar is a hybrid and is suitable as an acoustic or an electric component. Out of the box, I had to tune the guitar. Which is not out of the ordinary. Though, I have reviewed some high-end models that came tuned out of the box. Does this imply that that the guitar is going to be bad, no, not at all. There are two things that could have happened here.
The Roadie Coach is an example of how easy guitar practicing | lessons can be from anywhere you are. No longer do you have to be in a specific setting or in front of a guitar teacher to be trained on the concepts of guitar.

As a musician and guitar tech for decades, Dave's reputation preceded him, so when the Protein Dual Overdrive was first released, it found its way quickly into the hands of touring artists everywhere. Almost overnight, Browne Amplification was the name everyone was talking about, but it was by no means an overnight success.
Cream Guitars is a Mexican company based in Monterrey. Their CEO Luis Ortiz set out to break the rules of the traditional guitar, and you can tell with just a quick glance that he has succeeded in doing so visually. Cream’s finishes and body designs are truly nothing like those of its competitors. The body shapes are unique, but what’s even more captivating are the finishes that almost appear 3D. Many have designs made out of real glitter, real flowers, or even toys underneath a layer of epoxy.
My “go to” guitar has always been a Gibson SG in the Vintage Cherry Red. It is perfect for a specific set up that is conducive to the 60s era, that I enjoy so much. The equation is the Standard Gibson SG with the Vox AC15 Amp with no pedals. Perfect sound with a nostalgic feeling of the first British Invasion.
The sound was impeccable. If you could imagine an angelic sound leaving you with a sense of all, that is what the F40 is. That is the shortest answer I could come up with that would describe the sounds emanating from the Guild F40. I never enjoyed strumming a guitar than I do with this Guild model. Even the most novice of guitar players could experience the sound of a professional with just 4 chords alone.
Logically, the answer to this question is personal, and will depend most on our bank account. It is undeniable that more expensive monitors are better, but are we paying for quality that our ears can really perceive? At the ends of the price range, the answer is easy, a $1,000 monitor clearly sounds better than an $80 one, but the mid-range is where it gets complicated, and this is where brands like KRK, Adam Audio and Yamaha have been fighting side by side for a long time, and this is where in recent years IK Multimedia has joined with their iLoud series and with the latest release of this series, the iLoud Micro Monitors Pro that we will analyze below.
Black Mountain Picks. Are they a non-essential component? This the first thing that I had to ask myself. I have played with some best picks available. Normally, my “go to” pick is made by Fender or Dunlop. However, I have been reading a lot of some items that seem to be non-essential for improving guitar skills. I have read articles that EVH used to hold a pick a certain way that will give him an edge over most guitarists. I was kind of dumb founded as to why this was the case.
At the heart of this instrument’s excellence is the GT-6 Pickup, a feature that significantly enhances its auditory experience. This pickup is celebrated for its crystal-clear sound reproduction, which beautifully amplifies the guitar’s natural acoustic qualities. Musicians are sure to value the pickup’s impressive responsiveness; it adeptly captures the subtlest nuances of a performance while preserving a harmonious and richly balanced tone. This capability is particularly vital for live performances and studio recordings, where precision and sound fidelity are of utmost importance.
Every detail has been given attention to; from the Kluson Supreme tuners to the gold finish on the Fralin Pure PAF humbuckers - it´s more than done right. Quite frankly it´s one good looking guitar. The lightly distressed finish gives it a warm feel and makes me want to get out my leather.
When I hear that device is going to make my life easier, I will sit up and take notice. Until I hear that it is wireless. Suddenly, a host of story lines come rushing in, and will cloud my sense of reason. Especially in the case of a wireless environment between my PRS Guitar and Marshall Amp. I have considered a wireless approach to my musical components in the past.
It is a really simple device, almost minimalist, if it weren't for the three Switches (very useful) and the integrated Reverb, but once you try it thoroughly, you realize that nothing is missing, anything you could add would help only to unnecessarily complicate manufacturing, increase cost, and possibly compromise the tone.
The short answer is that the Hurrikan is a hybrid pickup uniquely wound with 42.5 and 43 AWG Poly wire and features a powerful Alnico 6. This pickup is designed to provide thick and creamy tones with a modern clarity. Ideal for the player who needs more punch and less of a mid-scoop without the aggressiveness of the Alnico 8.
A few things in life command respect, like holding a fine instrument with delicate precision.
Everyone I’ve shown the SSC to appreciates and comments on the quality, the appealing design,
and the feel of the next level of artistry and craftsmanship. The precision instrument that is a
Knaggs guitar feels like you’re holding a classic, but it’s new, something that you know will be
around for a long time and get better with use. It has soul, warmth, and a story right out of the box. It's like a memorable, life-changing experience, leaving a mark on the timeline of your life.
One of the main reasons I love this guitar is how comfortable it is to play. It feels
like home every time I pick it up. The ultra-thin "C" shape neck, crafted from
Maple and Padauk multi-ply, with carbon fiber reinforcement rods, is just the
right thickness, making it easy to shred or slow down for intricate rhythms. The
access to higher frets is seamless, and when I’m moving through those fast solos, I
don’t feel restricted.

The Morifone Aileron™ headstock is their brand identity. Inspired by modern jet fighters and Italian cars designs, we think it is time for the guitar world to enter the three-Dimensional world. Spread your wings! Be a flag-bearer of the new generation of guitars! The angled capstans allows for less break angle to the strings at the nut, enhancing the sustain of the instrument for a better timbre and sound projection.

There is a little bit more length to the neck before it hits the body as opposed to the Little Sister model as the Stepsister has a neck joint on the 16th fret location for easier higher fret access whereas the Little Sister Model does so at the 14th fret. As a result of this purposeful extension of the fretboard, the neck pick-up is placed slightly closer to the bridge of the guitar.
I think IK Multimedia was right to focus on the quality of the emulations and the simplicity of the Hardware, ToneX pedals are not intended to solve everything, they only seek to replace amps and Cabs in an effective way and at a cost that is difficult to beat.
Graph Tech founder Dave Dunwoodie shares, “There are so many players out there that have a love/hate relationship with their locking nut. It affects the way you can bend and change strings and locks you out of using your machine heads for fine tunings or open tunings. There have been some attempts with rollers nuts and nuts carved to replace a locking nut, but the Un-Lock Nut really does it right and opens up a world of possibilities for a new experience in playing with a guitar equipped with a locking bridge!”
